All aid stations serve a variety of real food. In the evenings and mornings aid stations serve hot food, easy to digest soup, vegetarian options, cold & hot drinks, gels, fruit, and so much more! Our aid stations serve food to order with a focus on protein (burgers, bacon, eggs, wraps, beans) and fresh fruit including guacamole, avocados, grapes, bananas, watermelon, and other whole foods. Most aid stations will have medical volunteers/ Destination Trail medical team and first aid kits focusing on foot/ankle care. All aid stations will have either HAM communication or Satellite phone communication. All aid stations will track runner's in and out times. Sleep stations will have sleeping tents for 1-10 people(or indoor rooms for sleeping)with camp pads and/or cots and blankets. Participants are encouraged to have additional warm clothing / and sleeping bags at stations they plan to sleep at.
