Riley Smith, Race Staff

Riley was born and raised in small town in Eastern Oregon.  He was inspired to run by watching his brothers and sisters run when he was little. After running in high school Riley transitioned to triathlons for 4 years before discovering his love for trail running. Spending time on the trails and exploring the mountains is what makes him happy.  Riley started off his running career with a few road marathons and then on to a few 50ks followed by a 100k. Riley first met the Destination Trail Crew at the 2016 Bigfoot 200 and never left. He loves being around like minded people who share the passion for the trails and mountains. Riley's motto is, "Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life!"

Kyla Claudell, Headquarters Manager

Kyla was lucky enough to grow up on the front range in Colorado and fell deeply in love with mountains and trails. Her goal most days is to spend more time outside than inside and she’s up for anything –  run, bike, snowboard, raft, climb, or backpack. Kyla has helped produce trail races and support ultra runners for the last five years and she thinks she has the best job on the planet! Kyla’s favorite events are backcountry adventures that bring runners into remote and beautiful locations and let them really test their limits.
